Each year, the St. Paul of the Cross Women’s Club proudly awards a scholarship to a graduating 8th-grade student from our community who will be attending a Catholic high school.
The SPC Women’s Club Scholarship recognizes a student who demonstrates strong faith, academic effort, leadership, and service to others—qualities that reflect the spirit of our parish and the mission of our organization.
Who Is Eligible
Eligible students are:
Members of the St. Paul of the Cross Parish community
Graduating 8th graders entering a Catholic high school in the fall
Individuals who model Christian values through their actions both in and outside of school
How Recipients Are Selected
Applications are reviewed by a committee of Women’s Club members who carefully consider each candidate’s essay, community involvement, and demonstration of faith in daily life.
The recipient is selected based on:
-Commitment to faith and parish life
-Service to others and community engagement
-Character and leadership qualities
-Personal reflection expressed in the scholarship essay
The recipient is recognized at the parish school’s graduation ceremony and celebrated by our parish community for their outstanding example of living their faith with purpose and compassion.
Applications for the 2026 Scholarship Award will open in early April 2026.
The Women's Group AOW is pleased to announce that parishioners Grace and Lainey have each received our annual Catholic Education Scholarship Award of $1,000 to be used for tuition at their respective high schools. Congratulations, ladies!
